Key Information about CBSE LOC Correction 2025:

Purpose: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided a facility for schools to make corrections in the data of candidates submitted for the Class X and XII Board Examinations 2025. This is to ensure that the results and mark sheets issued are accurate.

Correction Window: The correction window is open from April 9, 2025, to April 17, 2025.

Portal: Corrections can be made through the Correction and Application Management Centre (CAMC) portal, which can be accessed on the official CBSE website. Schools need to log in using their affiliation number as the user ID.

Processing Fee: A processing fee of ₹1000 per candidate is applicable for making corrections. This fee must be paid by the schools to their respective regional CBSE offices. This facility is only for regular candidates.

Types of Corrections Permitted:

Interchange of mother's and father's names.

Minor corrections in the candidate's name and parents' names (spelling errors, etc.). Complete changes are not allowed.

Correction of photograph.

Correction of Date of Birth (DOB) as per school records (Admission and Withdrawal Register) and based on supporting documents.

Updation in the 'Single Child' status field.

Correction of gender, but only if there was a mistake in selecting male or female. Gender change is not permitted.

Correction in the F_L_Code (from improvement to full subject), subject to eligibility criteria as verified by the Regional Office.

Corrections NOT Permitted:

Complete change of father's or mother's name.

Change of category (e.g., from General to OBC).

Gender change.

Important Instructions for Schools:

Schools must ensure that the spelling of the student's, mother's, and father's names is exactly as per the School Record/Admission and Withdrawal Register.

The Date of Birth entered must be correct and as per the official school records.

Schools are required to upload a single PDF file containing the student's admission form, admission withdrawal register, and transfer certificate (if applicable) to support the correction requests.

All previous correction requests should be resubmitted through this portal.

No further correction requests will be entertained after the closure of this window.

The data finalized after this correction window will be used for providing the marks statement to the candidates.

CBSE has urged schools to avoid last-minute requests and ensure accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
